The Saddlery Training Centre provides short courses for those wishing to improve their skills and / or gain City & Guilds Qualifications. Our courses are not suitable for beginners.
We offer three types of courses:
The first is our range of short courses. These are suitable for those wishing to learn specific skills and / or gain the City & Guilds Diploma in Saddlery at Level 2 & 3 in Bridle, Saddle or Harness Making. The following courses are all available:
- Bridle Making
- Saddle Making
- Harness Making
- Advanced Courses
- Bespoke Courses
The second is our New Entrants Training Scheme. This is suitable for those wishing to follow an apprentice style training route, but for whom apprenticeship is not an option.
The third is a programme of off the job training for Apprentices enrolled on ‘The Worshipful Company of Saddlers Millennium Apprenticeship Scheme’ or other forms of apprenticeship.
